I got to 21050 and had a good time, but I'm left handed and moving with arrows is really hard for me XD I'd love to see an updated version that allows for AWSD/pad
Extremely valid, if I do another big shmup I'll figure out the gamepad stuff. If you're on windows I usually play this one with joy2key!
I'd say the easiest thing is usually to allow both ASWD and arrows at the same time, you don't even need to bother with control menus or whatever (as long as yuo don't use these keys for other actions)

I'm usually not a fan of "shmups", but I'm sold on this one. At no point is this game simply overwhelming or simply "unfair." It's smooth, well-crafted, and, most importantly, learnable.
Best score is 19660 so far! I especially enjoyed discovering the new enemy types and being surprised by them. Really liked the small touches like using the ship to navigate the menu.
This game is rad because I'm basically the best at it.
