D'awww this is so cute!! Also I laughed at every use of recoil. It was a really clever touch!

I really liked it! I like that you were able to commit to the joke but also tell a really sweet story without compromising either
just finished it and i love it! your writing and storytelling do so much in just a few pages, like the licorice theming?? actually genius. i found myself tearing up at the end. i know this started out as a joke thing but the heart in the story really comes through, and i'm extremely inspired by how you turned your outside impression of something into something new and cool. it's got me thinking about a lot!!
i love this! the characters are totally accurate too, all the best bits of gay girls running a cafe, without the anti-terrorism sideplot and shady high-tech zealots.
i have never felt so seen until i played a game that does exactly what i do sometimes when i see a new pair of cute girls kissing on twitter - not even bother watching/reading where they come from, and dream up a story based on the most vague and unessential context clues plucked from various posts about it online
if you want to experience this phenomenon in detail, please play this game it is very cute and funny and super short and is very informative about licorice
Incredibly funny and cute. Absolutely love the commitment to the bit. Drifts slightly from the source material with the lack of para-military 16 year olds and confusing political themes. I think it stands strong regardless.
I love the simple artwork, it supports the lighthearted yet sincere tone of the story.
The writing is spot-on. Even if it's from a limited first-person POV, the character comes through with each line as she notices little details and her mood subtly but strongly changes.
Using shared experiences and a love of cooking is a great way to carry this small love story.
I'm going to bully you forever for 'Chorizo' I hate it thank you so much
I have not seen the show either but I'm pretty sure this is 100% accurate.
Excellent MIDI use throughout each page. I actually didn't even realize it was Flickgame Art until the credits then thought "Oh yeah that was definitely Flickgame Art!"
Great work as always!
